Do North Theatre is the only independent theatre company in Shoreline. We were formed in early March 2008 to take advantage of a space that became available in the North City Business District in Shoreline. The theater company that used to occupy the venue decided to give up the space. We wanted to save a theatre from going away and took over. Our first show, Shirley Valentine, was produced in early March 2008.
Our next show, Mutiny at Mahring is scheduled to open on October 8th. This show will run until October 24th. Shows are Thurs, Fri, Sat at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm.
Next up, ILU Productions will be back in early November with Love Letters.
In early December, the Chazz and Woody Improv show will grace our stage for two weekends
Stay tuned for more information on all of these shows on our "Currently Playing" Page
The space is located at 17517-C 15th Ave NE, in Shoreline. It is a small space that seats about 40. Our casts are small and our shows will be technically simple. We believe in strong charaters telling strong stories over the flash of technology.
There are issues in parking by our space. We have spaces out in front of the building, but only a few. These will also be shared sometimes by the Seattle Chess Club, upstairs. There is some off street parking that may be available during our shows. We are working on coodinating with some of the local businesses to allow us the use of their lots during our shows, but so far we don't have anything definite.
